Duran The Plumber LLC – Residential Plumbing & Heating Services
Welcome to Duran The Plumber LLC. By scheduling service, approving an estimate, or authorizing work, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Residential Services Only
Duran The Plumber LLC provides professional plumbing and heating services for residential properties only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Diagnostic Service Fee
A professional diagnostic service fee of $195 applies to residential service calls.
If the recommended repair is approved during the same visit, the $195 diagnostic fee will be applied toward the repair cost.
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once service has been performed.
3. Deposits for Installation & Project Work
For installations and larger scheduled projects, including but not limited to:
Boiler installations
Water heater replacements
Tankless water heater installations
Tankless combi units
Major plumbing repairs
A 50% deposit is required to secure scheduling and begin work.
Deposit Terms:
50% due upon approval of estimate
Work will not begin until deposit is received
Deposits may be non-refundable once materials are ordered
Remaining balance is due immediately upon completion
Failure to provide required deposit may result in cancellation or rescheduling.
4. Scope of Work
All services are limited to the scope described in the written estimate or invoice.
Any additional work required due to unforeseen conditions must be approved before proceeding and may result in additional charges.
5. Age & Condition of Existing Plumbing and Heating Systems
Plumbing and heating systems naturally deteriorate over time.
Duran The Plumber LLC is not responsible for failures, leaks, breakdowns, or damages caused by:
Age
Corrosion
Deterioration
Prior improper installation
Pre-existing system defects
Servicing or repairing one component does not guarantee the condition or lifespan of the entire system.
The Company is not liable for failures involving:
Aging piping systems
Corroded water lines
Old boilers or heat exchangers
Existing venting or chimney deficiencies
Electrical or gas supply issues outside the scope of work
Previously installed or customer-supplied equipment
Opening or servicing older systems may expose additional weaknesses beyond the original repair area.
6. Unforeseen Conditions
Hidden defects may exist within walls, floors, ceilings, underground piping, or mechanical systems.
If additional issues are discovered, work will pause until revised pricing is approved by the customer.
7. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and materials installed.
Labor warranty terms, if applicable, will be stated on the invoice.
Warranty does not cover:
Pre-existing system conditions
Lack of maintenance
Freezing or neglect
Abuse or misuse
Acts of God (flooding, storms, power surges)
Modifications performed by others
Warranty is void if equipment is altered by third parties.
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unpaid balances may be subject to:
Interest charges
Collection fees
Legal fees as permitted by Pennsylvania law
Duran The Plumber LLC reserves the right to stop work for non-payment.
9. Limitation of Liability
Duran The Plumber LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Company liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.
10. Property Access & Safety
Customers must provide safe, clear access to work areas.
The Company is not responsible for delays or damages caused by unsafe conditions, inaccessible areas, or pre-existing structural issues.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
